Nestled opposite Shanghai’s Rock Bund Museum, the new space occupies the top floor of a historical threestorey brick building known as the Amber Builidng, a former warehouse used by the Central Bank of China during the Republican period. To this day the building occupies a prominent location in Shanghai’s thriving art landscape, with its proximity to the city’s major museums and auction houses.
